My grandfather was fond of jewelry when it was very difficult to develop this passion. He had many problems with finding materials for his ornaments, but nowadays it is not a big problem. Money can help us to solve it easily. What were his first steps in studying the art of beauty? He was very interested in carved stones and he began to carve them by himself. Of course it is the job for patient people. He had studied many different topics: the history of jewelry, materials used in it, places to get materials, ornaments of different people. It will be difficult fir me to tell about the technologies used in jewelry but it is very interesting and important too. I'll try to illustrate it but can't pay very big attention to area where i have some difficulties.

My grandfather was fond of jewelry early in his life. He had very good experience in making rings, ear-rings and beads from different materials. Of course jewelry is not easy hobby, that's why he had to read many books on this topic and he suggested some of them to me. I've looked them through and now I can easily say that the topic of jewelry can attract everyone. Even history of jewelry consists of many unique facts that have shocked me.
